Starflower honey is produced from farming the bees on farm crop borage.
This tiny delicate star shaped blue flower produces a honey which is light in consistency, light in colour and has a very delicate flavour
Borage (Borago officinalis), also known as 'starflower'.
Borage has five-petalled star-like flowers which are usually of an intense blue colour, but can be pink, and which are highly attractive to bees.
The flowers are very rich in nectar.
